After a tournament of stellar turns and upsets, the 2023 World Cup Final will come down to a struggle between European weightlifters looking for their first title.

England and Spain are scheduled to kick off at 6am ET at Stadium Australia in Sydney, with the US broadcast on Fox and Telemundo. BetMGM made England slight favorite to lift the trophy.

The two teams are in their first World Cup final, and will have the chance to join the United States, Germany, Japan and Norway in the tournament’s 32-year-old roster of champions.

England arrived here with three wins in the group stage, followed by victories over hosts Nigeria, Colombia and Australia. They have the consensus for the best coach in the world in Sarina Wiegman, with an attack featuring Lauren James, Lauren Hemp and Alicia Russo, all three of whom have scored three goals in this tournament.

Spain was the dominant team in the tournament, winning all six of their matches by an aggregate score of 21-3. Its situation behind the scenes has been considerably less smooth, but the team looks very much like a sleeping giant beginning to wake up. She won the Golden Ball twice in midfielder Alexis Potilas, but was injured during the tournament.

Sweden actually beat Australia 2-0 to book third place in the tournament.
